In this lecture, Ashley Simons, PT, DPT, PhD, Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist provided participants with an overview of statistical analysis in research. You will be able to use components from this lecture to immediately choose an appropriate statistical analysis, interpret the findings of an analysis, and dive deeper into more savvy statistical methods. No prior knowledge is needed. The webinar presents basic information and advanced clinically applicable tools. How to Win an OPTA Research Grant and Influence Practice! presented June 16, 2021

Her webinar, "Formulating a Researchable Question: Where do I Begin?" will help you jump start your research process.
Have you had uncertainty about a clinical problem or considered an interesting clinical question you want to investigate, and then asked yourself, “where and how do I begin” to research this? Developing a research question is critical when beginning a research project, but it can also be one of the most challenging tasks to accomplish! This session provides guidelines, tools, and examples for the novice PT on how to frame a successful research question, that could facilitate grant funding, and contribute to existing literature about a meaningful clinical topic.
