The OPTA is proud to introduce the L.I.F.E Series Leadership Academy, your path to success through Leadership, Innovation, InFluence and Engagement. This progressive educational program was designed to refine and strengthen individual skillsets in those four core unit areas. We believe investing in the leadership development of the individual physical therapist and physical therapist assistant produces a wide-range of benefits: it advances the profession and the organization and positively impacts the consumer.
The L.I.F.E Series Leadership Academy is an expansive and interactive one-year program that delivers learning through cohort meetings and discussions, recommended book club assignments, webinars and networking events. Participants will gain a better understanding of themselves through comprehensive personality and behavior self-assessment exercises, and apply that knowledge to improve working relationships, resolve conflict and enrich communication skills in both personal and professional environments. Upon graduating from the L.I.F.E Series Leadership Academy, graduates will use their elevated personal presence to achieve transformative change through enhanced strategic vision and purpose.

OPTA is proud to work with consultant Amy Lafko, MSPT, MBA who founded Cairn Consulting Solutions with the knowledge that leadership skills can be developed. While the chair of the LAMP Institute for Leadership, Amy brings different elements to her client work. For example, this program will provide in-depth assessment tools to examine your natural behavioral tendencies and current level of emotional intelligence. Utilizing these tools is the foundation of the program's exploration of L.I.F.E. skills.
