Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome is increasing in prevalence due to a greater understanding and ability to diagnosis. However, patients with this syndrome often take years to be diagnosed due to the complex and variable presentation. Join the East Central District on Saturday, June 1 for, "Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome:  Understanding the Continuum of Care" as we explore Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and educate physical therapists on the etiology, presentation and treatment of EDS with a focus on the continuum of care from acute to outpatient.. Our speakers will further provide the viewpoint of the patient and give greater insight into aspects of care to improve patient outcomes and therapist understanding of the syndrome.
