Join the West Central District for an upcoming CE event in your area. This event, "Strain/ Counterstrain" will take participants through the introduction of Strain Counterstrain Osteopathic indirect manual release including history of development. You will also learn more about the definition of basic concepts including tender points, mobile point and the Neurological basis involving Gamma Gain and stretch receptors - muscle spindle and Type III and IV specialized receptors. There will be a demonstration of identifying active tender points and subsequent release will also be provided.
Presenter Ray Lindemann, PT is a1974 graduate of State University of NY at Buffalo with BS degree in Physical Therapy, 1982 graduate of Central Michigan University with MA degree in Supervision and Management. Past owner of Lindemann Physical Therapy, LLC providing SNF Rehab services and operated 6 outpatient clinics in the Dayton region until 2014. He began training in SCS 1995 with Jones Institute Certification earned 2004. He has continued specialization in use of SCS to present and teaches SCS introductory course at University of Dayton, Sinclair Community College and most recently State University of NY at Buffalo.
