About the Cadaver Course:

The OPTA Research Committee and Cleveland State University's Health Science Department are pleased to present this annual cadaver course! This unique learning opportunity for PTs and PTAs is a welcome review for professionals of all experience levels. 

The course will involve a review and direct observation of the anatomy on the cervical and thoracic spine; head/face, shoulder, elbow, and wrist/hand. The course will use prosected cadavers, anatomical pictures, and lecture materials.

Cost: $150.00 for OPTA Members / $210.00 for Non-Members / Student Members $30.00 (6.0 CEUs Pending)

Course Objectives:

  • Identify anatomical landmarks related to cervical-thoracic spine, head/face, shoulder, elbow, and wrist/hand\
  • Identify muscle attachments of musculature of cervical-thoracic spine, head, shoulder , elbow, wrist/hand
  • Understand the principles of osteokinematics and arthrokinematics of cervical-thoracic spine, head, shoulder , elbow, wrist/hand
